Assalamu Alaykum
All praise is due to Allah (SWT), the Cherisher and Sustainer. We thank Allah for bestowing upon us this deen of Islam and making us Muslims. Once again we make dua (pray) that Allah makes us of those fortunate enough to see the month of Ramadaan. When the Prophet 
sighted the moon of Rajab (two months before Ramadaan) he used to pray to Allah in the following words:
اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِى رَجَبَ وَ شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان
Allahumma barik lana fi Rajab wa Sha’ban wa ballighna Ramadaan
O Allah! Make the months of Rajab and Sha’ban blessed for us, and let us reach the month of Ramadaan (i.e. prolong our life up to Ramadaan, so that we may benefit from its merits and blessings)

Let us also pray that the months preceding Ramadaan will strengthen our resolve to be steadfast Muslims and to be able to face the challenges in this world without compromising our deen. Insha-Allah Aameen.
